Welcome to My Horological World
As a collector based in Singapore, I started collecting watches when I was a kid; growing my collection in size over the years. I love showing off my favourite finds and sharing my collection with others. Here you will find pictures of watches that I have collected or sold over the years. Occasionally I may also post some new models that are coming up in the market.

My Humble Watch Collection
A Journey of Nostalgia
I couldn’t imagine when I first started collecting that my collection of watches would grow to such a size, but that’s part of the joy of being a longtime Watch Collector. Explore the items below and feel free to let me know you think.
Zenith
Vintage 70s Port Royal
This is a vintage 70s Zenith Port Royal that I had purchased from a friend eons ago. When the watch first landed on my hands, the old plating was polished off so I had to send it for Gold-Plating to restore its looks. This is followed by a search on EBAY to get the original strap with the old Zenith Square Logo. This watch is powered by Zenith Cal 49 Movement (ETA2892 based) which is a workhorse movement so I figured its gonna last me for years to come. Enjoy the pictures guys / gals !!

Rado Diamaster Automatic Grande Seconde
Working with Time on my Hands
The Rado Diamaster Grande Seconde was one of the watches I wear daily for work. The dial is clear, open and very readable. The minimalist design and the 43mm high-tech ceramic case fits very nicely under my shirt cuff. This is complemented by its oversized seconds display and shows a contrasting complication that looks classic as well as eye-catching on the wearer.

Rado 70s Chronograph
A Watch born out of partnership
My first Rado Vintage Chronograph that was acquired from a good friend upon me starting out my new job. This watch was manufactured in the 70s and is powered by the evergreen Valjoux 7750 Movement. Notice the special Anchor Logo at the 9 o'clock which acts as the second hand.

This case design is very common in the 70s and brands like Longines and Certina have similar designs

Rado Diamaster Power Reserve
Time cannot be reserved even with a power reserve indicator present.
This is a blue Rado Diamaster Automatic Power Reserve watch in a 43mm High-Tech Ceramic Case and is powered by an ETA C.07.671 80hrs Power Reserve movement. W.R is rated at 100m and the dial is protected by a Sapphire Crystal with AR coating. This is my daily watch worn at work so I am amazed that despite my daily banging, it still looks great!! (By the way Ceramic Case and Sapphire Crystal are scratch resistant)

TISSOT HERITAGE PORTO MECHANICAL
Something Unique and Special
This heritage watch is inspired by a watch from the 1910s and is defined as "tonneau-shaped": a timepiece with a special shape case resembling a barrel. Whereas its name "Porto" takes back from a previous limited edition, honoring the Portuguese city after being declared European capital of Culture in 2001
Watch is powered by a manual winding ETA 7001 movement with a power reserve of 42hrs. Size is around 42.45mm x 31.1mm (estimated). Comes in Stainless steel and Rose Gold PVD coating.

Reaching out beyond elegance and style. With its retro and sophisticated lines, Heritage Porto sails between eras and surfs over the present day. A slender and domed tonneau-shape, this watch takes its inspiration from Art Nouveau. It will appeal to lovers of vinyl records, instant Polaroid snaps, retro gaming and anyone looking for a hint of old-fashioned style. (Source: Tissot)

Vintage 70s Rotary UFO Watch
Back to the 70s!
This is a beautiful vintage 70s Rotary which I purchased from a good friend. It is powered by a vintage swiss automatic 21 Jewels movement (A Schilds) encased in a round and almost UFO like base metal chromium case. The blue dial and raised markers are what attracted me and I have attached a bund strap to complete the vintage look of the watch.

A very special blue dial with chunky raised markers that are typical of the 70s era watch design

The watch looks pretty nice on the brown bund strap but I would consider changing it for a tropical strap next time

Titus Chronograph Watch
天長地久” “Love lost is perhaps the love that remains with you for all time”
This is a Titus manual winding chronograph powered by a Seagull movement. The dial is white-enamel like with the tachometer scale reminding me of the old vintage Titus in the early 50s. The arabic font markers and the blue hands add on to the vintage look of this watch.

A very nice reissue with a enamel-like dial and twin chronograph registers

An Seagull ST-19 movement. Features: manual-wind chronograph, 60s, 30min, column wheel, sub second Jewels: 19, Frequency: 21.600 bph, Power reserve: 51h

A nice combination with the brown leather strap and the gold plated case

Vintage 60s Rotary Campus Watch
Roaring 60s! Back to Campus
This is a vintage 60s Rotary Campus Watch in a mono-bloc fibreglass case, a design that was done to improve its water resistance. This also meant that the servicing for the watch can only be done via the crystal removal on the dial side. The watch has a very unique plastic band and is powered by a Swiss ETA 17 jewel mechanical movement Cal ST96.

Citizen Calendar Watch
One Watch to tell it all
This is an old Citizen Quartz Calendar Watch, probably from the 90s which explains its smaller than usual size (35mm).
To summarise the functions of the watch. The 12 o'clock sundial shows the Sun/Moon, the 6 o'clock shows the moon phase, the 3 o'clock shows the month, the 9 o'clock shows the day followed by a pointer that shows the date.
Amazing functions for a watch ain't it?

MIDO Ocean Star Dive Watch

Jaquet Droz
The history that was ignored
My Vintage Jaquet Droz (Pre-Swatch Group). Notice that the logo is different from the present JD Logo as these were produced through the cooperation of a dial maker, case maker and movement supplier; hence represented by the 3 lines arrow on the logo.

Vintage Longines Weems Watch
Navigating the Skies
The watch was designed by Philip Van Horn Weems for Longines. This model was probably produced after 1935 and it still has a US patent number on the dial. This version 2 has a rotating outer bezel instead of an inner rotating disc for navigation.
Basic Specifications:
Movement: 17Jewels
Dial: Silvered
Case: 27mm SS
Bezel: Engraved revolving bezel calibrated for 60 units, locking crown near 2 o'clock.

US Patent: 2008734 is for the design of the rotating bezel

Signed Longines, Weems, U.S. PAT. 2008734, circa 1943

US Patent: 2008734 is for the design of the rotating bezel
Festina 70s Watch
Something Simple and Unique
Festina was created in 1902 by the Stüdi family in the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, in Switzerland. In 1935 the founding family transmitted the brand to businessman Willy Burkhard von Wilhelm. In 1985, businessman Miguel Rodríguez acquired Festina, thus forming the Festina-Lotus group.
The watch below is a 70s model going by the design of the dial, the hands and the markers. The gold tone bezel seems to be out of place and I believed it was changed as the original was damaged. Watch is powered by an A.Schild Automatic movement which are typically used in the 70s. Hopefully I get more wrist time out of this watch as I really liked it!
